Who is BMAT Consulting?
Headquartered in Charlotte, NC, BMAT Consulting offers a variety of services to restoration companies and general contractors for residential and commercial properties. We provide independent estimating for mitigation, reconstruction and remodeling jobs. We us our construction, estimating, and insurance knowledge to generate higher profit margins for our customers, utilizing Xactimate and Symbility estimating platforms. We are experienced adjusters/estimators for both large and small losses. We average 15% higher profit margins for our customers simply because of our experience with these estimating platforms and our attention to detail. We also understand construction and what is required to be done versus what insurance typically writes for. No matter where you have a need BMAT’s network of skilled, highly trained estimators, will be there.

Staff
Andrew Thigpen
Andrew Thigpen was born in Whiteville, NC and grew up in Charlotte, NC. After graduating from Myers Park HS, Andrew attended Appalachian State University where he completed his business degree.
Andrew is a mitigation and reconstruction estimating specialist with more than a decade of experience writing in Xactimate and Symbility. Andrew spent 10 years working as an independent insurance adjuster learning the ins-and-outs of the insurance world before deciding to become a consultant on the contractor side of the construction industry.
Over the past 5 years Andrew has specialized in handling large losses resulting from fires, tornadoes, hurricanes, and various other types of catastrophic events. Having worked on both the insurance and contracting side of losses; Andrew has learned how to write detailed estimates that provide high profit margins for his customers while also appeasing carriers, resulting in satisfied homeowners.
When not behind a computer or on an inspection; Andrew’s free time is spent with his wife entertaining their daughter and hiking with their dog. Andrew also loves to get out on the golf course with friends and clients.
Bryan Mayer
Bryan Mayer was born in Memphis, TN and grew up in Charlotte, NC. Bryan graduated from East Meck High School and attended college at Mars Hill, NC. He transferred from Mars Hill and attended UNC Charlotte.
Following college, Bryan traveled extensively from Europe to Asia. He lived and worked in England and Australia, an experience that has gifted him with a great love and appreciation of many cultures and diverse personalities.
Bryan began his career as a licensed adjuster in 2008. Mr. Mayer has over a decade of experience as a licensed insurance adjuster working both commercial and residential claims across the country. Mr. Mayer has worked for a mitigation company / general contractor writing estimates for a variety of losses and advising on the claims process to provide complete satisfaction for the client, insurance company and employer.
Bryan Mayer is the co-founder of BMAT Consulting. Given his background on the insurance side and contractor side Bryan is able to quickly and efficiently write detailed estimates that maximize profit margins while simultaneously gaining the trust and satisfaction of all parties included.
Bryan & his wife Jamie married in April 2017. Together they have 2 dogs and love the lake life. Occasionally, he can be found hacking it up on the golf course.
